The BioDigitalPC® 9 is powered by 5VDC and consumes between 5W and 10W. It has output signals of four USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, two PCIe x1 Gen2 and DisplayPort++: servicing HDMI, DP, DVI and VGA video outputs. The BioDigitalPC® 9 also includes the Trusted Platform Module(TPM) for the highest computing security.

The BioDigitalPC® 9 is able to run any x86 operating system including Windows, Windows Server, Linux, CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu, and many others. It is fully compatible with older BioDigitalPC® docking stations and is ready to provide a mobile computing experience with just a moments notice. The card is hot swappable and contains a built in graphics card.

All BioDigitalPC®s have a waterproof, dust-proof, fire resistant and rugged epoxy coating ringed with anodized aluminum able to resist the worst operating conditions. The operating temperature is between -40C and 110C and is able to withstand nearly 3000G forces (fully epoxied).

ADDC has developed an integratable micro-form factor docking station for use within integrated products such as monitors, tablets, TVs and micro client setups. Utilizing a very small footprint the Quick Connect CAC Docking Station is the easiest to integrate into larger platforms while maintaining standard connections.

The Quick Connect CAC docking station comes complete with a BioDigitalPC ®docking connection, CAC reader, 3 USB connections, a Mini-DP++ video out connector and a 5VDC power in connector. Also included is a 4-pin header containing USB 2.0 signals and a PCIe x1 connector. Power pins are provided in order to power the PCIe
per use specifications.

The BioDigitalPC® Simple Reader provides the user of the BioDigitalPC® Card with a fully functioning desktop computer experience. It's simplicity, very small size and low power consumption provide convenience and flexibility.

Just insert the BioDigitalPC® Card into the connector located on the BioDigitalPC® Simple Reader and it will automatically power up. No need to hit the power switch or other boot up actions. The BioDigitalPC® Card will boot up and prepares whatever installed operating system the user requires.

The Simple Reader include a red LED light to indicate power to the board. A green LED indicated the card has been inserted.

This Simple Reader runs on 12VDC at an average of 11W (8W - 15WTPD during normal use).
